WHO is eligible to host the International Congress of Dietetics?
National dietetics association Members of ICDA are eligible to host the International Congress of Dietetics.

WHEN is an offer to host a Congress due?
Twelve months prior to each International Congress of Dietetics, ICDA Member national dietetics associations interested in hosting a future Congress are to provide a signed Intent to Bid to Host the International Congress of Dietetics for the Congress that will be held approximately eight years later.
HOW to make an offer to host a Congress?
Member association submits a signed Intent to Bid to Host the International Congress of Dietetics. The ICDA Member proposes the city, venue and dates for the Congress.

Bid specifications will be available from the Secretariat September 2019. Specifications will automatically be sent to a national dietetic association who that has submitted its intent to bid to host the International Congress of Dietetics in 2028. Bids will be due April 2020.
Results of the selection process will be announced at the Meeting of Members held the day prior to the 2020 International Congress of Dietetics in Cape Town, South Africa.
