Corinne Eisenbraun, MA, RD, FDC has a long history with Dietitians of Canada (DC) as staff and as a volunteer. She is Senior Director, Education Policy and Programs with DC. Her portfolio includes responsibilities related to dietetics education at entry-to-practice and continuing professional education program planning nationally. Corinne is ICD 2024 Congress Chair and was part of the USA-Canada team that hosted the 13th ICDA Congress in Chicago in 2004.
She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Dietetic Association in the early 1990s and part of the transition team that created Dietitians of Canada in 1996. She has served on national and regional Boards and alliance organizations including the Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice, the Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance of Canada, the Manitoba Council for Child Nutrition and Healthy Start for Mom and Me to name a few. She became a Fellow of Dietitians of Canada in 2014.
She was appointed Director on the International Confederation of Dietetic Associations in July 2019 as official Representative of Dietitians of Canada.
Prior to her work with DC, Corinne was Executive Director of the Manitoba Association of Registered Dietitians. She worked as an Administrative Dietitian throughout the prairie provinces in acute and long-term care settings as well as in consumer level product testing and quality control for international food service and food manufacturing companies.
