All Member national dietetic associations meet the criteria that

The majority (51%) of members are persons with a legally recognized qualification in nutrition and dietetics who apply the science of nutrition to the feeding and education of groups of people and individuals in health and disease

One national dietetic association in each country is eligible to be a Member. Where a number of countries have banded together to form a regional association and where those individual countries do not have national dietetic associations, a regional association may be eligible to be a Member.

To begin the application process, complete and submit the National Dietetic Association Application Form to the ICDA Secretariat.

Membership will be approved by the Board of Directors contingent upon payment of the membership Fee for the current term.
