Mary-Ann Søerensen is the Lead Administrative Dietitian in the Municipality of Pandrup, Denmark. Mary-Ann is responsible for catering and nutritional advice for the elderly living in three nursing homes, a day-care centre, a café for senior citizens and "Meals on Wheels" program in the municipality.

Mary-Ann Søerensen is the Official Representative of the Danish Dietetic Association, which was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Confederation of Dietetic Associations July 2000. A member of the Board of Directors of the Danish Dietetic Association since 1985, Mary-Ann has been the international representative and has been active in the European Federation of Associations of Dietitians, serving on its Executive Committee and 1998 work group who made the report "Education and Work of Dietitians within the Member States of EFAD" and has been the official delegate to the International Committee of Dietetic Associations.
