The Academy Foundation is proud to present the 2017 Wimpfheimer-Guggenheim International Lecture: “How Global Nutrition Collaborations Impact Change – Lessons from Four Continents” on October 22 in Chicago, IL during the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics annual Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE).
The session will be presented by Dr. Richard Deckelbaum, MD, CM, FRCP(C), Professor of Pediatrics/Epidemiology and Director, Institute of Human Nutrition in the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University Medical Center. The session will highlight collaborations among institutions in countries differing in social, cultural, political and economic status. Emphasis will be placed on impacts on local health and nutritional status, capacity building and nutrition policy.
