ICD 2012 Congress Program Update

The call for submission of Abstracts for the 16th International Congress of Dietetics (Sydney, Australia Sept 5-8, 2012) is now closed.  

The ICD 2012 Congress Program Committee sends a warm thank you to our colleagues from around the world for submitting a  very welcome set of abstracts for nearly 500 poster and presentation topics, over 60 workshops and 40 symposia.    

 The Congress Program Committee will now attend to the important task of  providing peer review on this work.  We will then categorise the abstracts to fully develop the scientific program along the themes of Leadership, Evidence and Advancing Practice.
 
 Within those themes, contributions will be organised into  sub-categories relating to professional development (growing the profession), practice domains (eg public health, clinical, food service, community, private practice, industry), research in practice, and food and nutrition science.
 
We are really looking forward to working with these contributions and have set a target date of mid September for getting back to everyone on final decisions.
