The Hellenic Dietetic Association - Nutrition was founded in 1969 in Athens, and is the official body representing Dietitians - Nutritionists of Higher Education in Greece.
Its purpose is to promote public health through information to professionals and the public by presenting new data in the field of nutrition and health.

O Πανελλήνιος Σύλλογος Διαιτολόγων - Διατροφολόγων ιδρύθηκε το 1969, στην Αθήνα, και αποτελεί τον επίσημο φορέα εκπροσώπησης των Διαιτολόγων - Διατροφολόγων Πανεπιστημιακής Εκπαίδευσης στην Ελλάδα.
Σκοπός του είναι η προαγωγή της Δημόσιας Υγείας μέσω της ενημέρωσης των επιστημόνων και του κοινού για τα νεότερα δεδομένα στον τομέα της διατροφής και της υγείας.
Για το σκοπό αυτό εκδίδει έντυπο υλικό και διοργανώνει ανά τακτικά χρονικά διαστήματα επιστημονικές δράσεις, μεταξύ των οποίων επιστημονικά συνέδρια, ημερίδες, ομιλίες για το κοινό και οργανωμένες εκδηλώσεις με στόχο την ενημέρωση τόσο των επιστημόνων υγείας όσο και του κοινού.
