    The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) is the leading nutrition organisation in Australia. It is a not-for-profit, professional member association representing around 5,800 members. These members include dietitians and nutritionists, nutrition scientists, dietetic students , associate and affiliate members. DAA is devoted to supporting its members, increasing opportunities for members, and influencing both government policy and the food supply to ensure better nutrition and health for all Australians. Vision: Leadership in dietetics, food and nutrition for healthier people and healthier nations. Mission: DAA is the peak body of dietetic and nutrition professionals providing strategic leadership in food and nutrition and advancing the professional interests of our members. DAA is a structured and progressive association, with an emphasis on excellence of practice and good governance. It has branches in each state and territory. The Board of Directors, made up of eight elected National Directors including a President and a Vice-President, govern the Association which is managed by a team of staff.
